Jinmianshan is a beautiful mountain to the north of Taipei with rocky outcrops and great views of Taipei。 The terrain is more exciting than most of the mountains near Taipei， more boulders and rocks to climb over and not a lot of stairs。
There are many entrances to the Jinmianshan Hiking Trail, and I would like to recommend an unpopular route. From here, you can visit Sinpowei Mountain, Jhusong Mountain, and the real Jinmian Mountain. Compared with other entrances, this place is more original and full of surprises.
