This is a beautiful location and a great drive along the coast. This location is one of the few places left where you can see and play among the natural sand dunes of Texas. Park along the side of the county road to access this cache. If you wish to drive along the sandy beach, to play in the surf, or have a picnic, the access for cars to drive on the beach is at county access points #5 & #6. There is a fee to drive on the beach. Do not get off in the soft sand with your car. Four wheel drive is recommended. Enjoy this amazing location on South Padre Island. As always, please return cache as found.
