この井戸の水を飲むとき、心が正しければ清水、邪心があれば塩水、という伝えがあります。
第一京浜国道（昭和2年、1927年完成）として東海道が拡幅され、もとは境内地にあったものが、神社前の歩道に残ることになりました。
区指定文化財。
今は水を飲み試す事は出来ません。自分を正しながら、日頃の生活をしていきたいです。
向かいに本殿があります。参拝と立派な御神木を見てパワーをもらって下さい。
