When we first started this hobby, we would plan a trip and leave with nothing but our phone/GPS. We quickly found out that we were bushwhacking through sketchy places, sticking our hands in crazy places, lifting rocks, climbing trees and various other things we never would have before! We slowly started adding tools of the trade to our arsenal. In particular, a handy flashlight, a walking stick, sturdy boots, tweezers, etc, etc, etc. Now we take more on a geocaching trip than we would when we camp (almost)! This cache is placed in honor of all the crazy things we geocachers do just to sign a piece of paper.
The trail is open dawn to dusk.
