The coordinates for this bonus cache will be obtained on completion of the Adventure Labs - Kiltonga Wildlife Reserve, This is an oasis of nature and serenity on the outskirts of Newtownards. The Adventure will take you on a circular walk around what is affectionately known as the Duck Pond. There are plenty of seats to stop and enjoy the views over the water towards Scrabo Tower. While the site is suitable for disabled access the final cache will require assistance. The cache is a large container with room for swops and Trackables but please bring your own pen.
This is a favourite place for dog walkers and you may see many types of birds on the water and in the trees. Please note that cycling is prohibited and that dogs should be kept on a lead. Currently there are warning signs regarding Avian influenza (bird 'flu) and please do adhere to the guidance about feeding the birds.
