Nach fast 15 Jahren Geocaching-Erfahrung und mehr als 200 Funden ist es an der Zeit, einen Traum zu verwirklichen und meinen ersten eigenen Geocache zu verstecken. Diesen Multi-Stage Cache habe ich mir anlässlich einer Geburtstags-Schatzsuche ausgedacht. Leider musste ich das (aus meiner Sicht deutlich "coolere") ursprüngliche Finale danach noch mehrfach ändern, da nahezu alle Ländereien um den Ankerweg in Privatbesitz sind und die Eigentümer dort kein Geocaches versteckt haben möchten. Das jetzige Finale ist daher nichts außergewöhnliches und auch nicht unmittelbar am Ankerweg, aber das bestmögliche um die eigentliche Idee nicht komplett über den Haufen zu werfen.
Der Ankerweg ist ein beliebter Spazier- und Fahraddweg zwischen den Erkrather Stadtteilen Unterfeldhaus, Alt-Erkrath und Hochdahl und auch Teil vom "Panoramaweg Haus Unterbach" des "neanderland STEIGs.
Der (Rund-)Weg für den Multi-Stage Cache ist ca 2km lang mit etwas Steigung und schmalen, gerölligen Wegen. Es kann auch teilweise matschig sein und da die Wege auch beliebt bei Hundebesitzern sind, können auch durchaus Hundehaufen vorkommen. Der Cache ist grundsätzlich auch im Dunkeln zu finden, jedoch sind die Wege nicht beleuchtet, also bei Dunkelheit am Besten Taschenlampen mitnehmen.
An den sechs Stationen A-F findet ihr bestimmte Zahlen (bitte Erläuterung bei den "Waypoints" beachten oder den Hinweis nutzen), die ihr für die Berechnung der Koordinaten (DDM minutes) für das Finale benötigt:

Achtung: beim Finale kann es schon mal muggelig sein. Daher beim Suchen aufpassen und nach dem Finden bitte wieder gut verdecken/tarnen. Ich habe die Box so versteckt, dass ein Muggel sie nicht sehen sollte, ein geübter Cacher aber relativ schnell entdecken sollte.

After almost 15 years of geocaching experience and more than 200 finds, it's time to realize a dream and hide my first own geocache. I came up with this multi-stage cache for a birthday treasure hunt. Unfortunately, I had to change the (in my opinion much "cooler") original finale several times since almost all the land around the Ankerweg is privately owned and the owners don't want any geocaches hidden there. The current finale is therefore nothing extraordinary and also not directly on the Ankerweg, but the best possible so as not to completely throw the actual idea overboard.
The Ankerweg is a popular walking and cycling path between the Erkrath districts of Unterfeldhaus, Alt-Erkrath and Hochdahl and also part of the "Panoramaweg Haus Unterbach" of the "neanderland STEIG".
The (circular) path for the multi-stage cache is about 2 km long with a slight incline and narrow, scree paths. It can also be muddy in parts and since the paths are also popular with dog owners, dog poo can also occur. In principle, the cache can also be found in the dark, but the paths are not illuminated, so it is best to take flashlights with you in the dark.
At the six stations A-F you will find certain numbers (please note the explanation under "Waypoints" or use the hint) that you need to calculate the coordinates (DDM minutes) for the final:

Attention: There can be muggles at the final. So be careful when searching and after you find it, please cover/camouflage it again. I've hidden the box in such a way that a muggle shouldn't see it, but a skilled cacher should be able to spot it relatively quickly.
