Das Kloster Himmelpforten (lat. Monasterium Porta Coeli) war eine Zisterzienserinnenabtei am Ufer der Möhne. Das 1246 gegründete Kloster bestand bis zur Säkularisation zu Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts. Die Klosterkirche und die verbliebenen Baulichkeiten wurden 1943 infolge der Bombardierung der Möhnetalsperre in der Möhnekatastrophe zerstört. - Wikipedia
Dieser Cache wurde im Rahmen des Community Celebration Events 2022-12-11 Enser Tailgate @ Himmelpforten (CCE) gelegt.
Bitte beim Überqueren der Straße vorsichtig sein. Der Cache befindet sich NICHT am Bildstock, sondern wenige Meter entfernt (siehe Hint). Rollstuhlfahrer können ihn erreichen, aber nicht sehen. Die D-Wertung bezieht sich auf Cacher, die einen solchen Behälter noch nicht gefunden haben, für alle anderen liegt die D-Wertung bei 1,0.

The Himmelpforten Monastery (lat. Monasterium Porta Coeli) was a Cistercian abbey on the banks of the Möhne. The monastery, founded in 1246, existed until secularization at the beginning of the 19th century. The monastery church and the remaining buildings were destroyed in 1943 as a result of the bombing of the Möhne dam in the Möhne disaster. - Wikipedia

Please be careful when crossing the street. The cache is NOT at/on the wayside shrine, but a few meters away (see hint). Wheelchair users can reach it but not see it. The D-score refers to cachers who have not yet found such a container, for all others the D-score is 1.0.
