Montrose Reverse Wherigo

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE LISTED CO-ORDINATES.  YOU WILL NEED TO USE THE WHERIGO APPLICATION TO DETERMINE THE FINAL CO-ORDINATES AND THE LOCATION OF THE CACHE CONTAINER TO SIGN THE LOG.

This a reverse wherigo with a twist.

Step 1 - Load a Wherigo ROM player on your smartphone (or a GPS that has one).

Step 2 - Load the Waldmeister Reverse Wherigo ROM into your Whereigo player

Step 3 - Obtain the numbers required and enter these into the Reverse Cache box

Step 4 - Take a distance measurement and move somewhere else (you may be further or closer) to take another distance measurement.

Step 5 - Eventually you will get the location of the cache revealed if you are less than 25m away from it.

Step 6 - Find the cache.

This WhereIGo uses the "The Reverse Cache - beta" ROM by -Waldmeister-.  Acknowledgements to -Waldmeister- for producting this ROM.

Getting the Numbers

At the posted co-ordinates you will find a three-digit number written on a plate under the guard rail.

• P = First Digit
• Q = Second Digit
• R = Third Digit

Make a new number out of these as:

• X = 1+P
• Y = Q-3
• Z = R+7

The numbers to enter into the reverse cache box are:

• #1: 014281
• #2: 685221
• #3: 482XYZ

Go Find It

Using the App, take a measurement and you will work out if you are getting "hotter" or "colder".

Each time you move to a new location, it will tell you how close you are (not the distance).
