The Event
It would be great to meet many geocachers from near and far at Mother Mac's – probably the best pub in Limerick. We are looking forward to hearing about your most exciting geocaching adventures and your best cache experiences in Ireland and the world.
The Venue
Mother Mac's public house is one of Limericks most iconic buildings located on High Street and upper Denmark Street at the entrance to the Market Quarter. It is formally known as The Round House and the building dates back to 1787. It is a traditional, old world style bar with some quirky touches. The bar was purchased by two local brothers in Dec 2015 and has been operated since as a family run premises. The pub has become known for the serving a wide selection of quality products but has become renowned for the atmosphere and banter.
