Been coming to this spot since I was little to watch boats and barges enter the Lock and Dam. Feel free to sit and relax awhile!
In the winter, this becomes home to all of the Bald Eagles in the area as the dam is the only open water around for them to find food.
General Zebulon Pike Lock and Dam No. 11 is a lock and dam located between Dubuque, Iowa, and rural Grant County, Wisconsin, on the Upper Mississippi River.
It was opened to navigation 14 September 1937.
