cliptwings: In the words of illustrious former NFL coach Jim Mora, "WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDIN' ME?" I also uttered these words upon hearing about the price increase for entry and services in Catalina State Park (CSP) as of 25 February 2025. Responding to the advice of my attorneys Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe, I will not express my suspicions as to the timing and amount of these increases. But as a direct result, I will no longer own geocaches within the confines of this park. My wife Pooh-Pooh and I will enjoy the remaining time we have before our annual pass expires, but there are plenty of beautiful FREE city and county parks and preserves nearby to explore. I will attempt to transfer many of my 22 caches currently in CSP to the following parks: Honeybee Canyon, Canada del Oro Riverfront Park, Naranja Park, James D. Kriegh Park, Arthur Pack Regional Park, Linda Vista Trail, Dove Mountain Park, Tortolita Preserve, and the very delightful Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve. I really appreciate all of you fine geocachers who have visited my humble caches over the years. May we meet again soon in a different location.
