I learned about the Molino’s Ravioli Factory and the homestead it was located on when I read a book on Pleasant Hill. This would have been shortly after we move to Pleasant Hill about twenty years ago. Later driving down Pleasant Hill Road during crab season I saw their sign, "Hot Crab Dinner." Well, I had to check it out. That's when I learned they were still in business and it was a seemingly thriving business. The sales office was in the bottom floor of the old homestead. On a monitor they played a mini documentary all about the place. I wish I could find the entire video but here is an exerpt: https://youtu.be/X3wCCPJCW5E
Our family would regulary come here to pick up pasta and sauces but it was also available in the local grocery stores. I was sad to learn back in 2016 that the site would be razed to make way for the houses that you can see have finally been completed. At least, the building developers put in this awesome plaque to commerate an important bit of Pleasant HIll history.
