Geocache Description:

Moorlands Totilas is also one of the most famous dressage horses of all time. He broke several records. Unfortunately, Totilas was trained using the abusive method Rollkur, which forces the horse to overbend his neck on a very tight rein, causing immense pain. Totilas' story is very controversial, as yes indeed, he was a great dressage horse, but if you watch his routines closely, you can see signs of pain, anger, and discomfort with which the horse carries himself, his disgruntled reactions to cues from his rider, and the way his rider forces him to carry his head and lift his knees high. This horse could've been greater had he been trained gently and correctly. He was retired early because of constant injuries, long-term effects of his abusive training.

Look closely at Totilas' picture below. Notice how close his chin is to his chest, and his reins are extremely tight. This is unatural and painful for the horse.

Cache is located on the Musketawa Trail. Note the terrain ratings of this series, you may need boots for water hazards in the spring.

Big thank you to Kneel More and JustJ for the containers.
