This is the second in my slow growing series of geocaches named after songs by famed Appalachian music star Tyler Childers.
Welcome to Harveytown Path (Harlan Road). Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 17 min to complete. This trail is great for road biking, running, and walking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.
This multicache will have you "wading through a mile of briar patch" as the song suggest to find a regular size container placed nearby. So "fetch your walkin' cane" and start at the nearby bridge. There are two plaques mounted to the bridge. Use the date found on the larger plaque to calculate the coordinates to "run to meet her, underneath the shadows of the pines"
