FTF the Cache
Did you ever wonder what someone meant when they said, “FTF?”
Could it be…
FTF – First to File…
FTF – For the Family…
FTF – Fit to Fly…
FTF – Farmer-to-Farmer…
FTF – Face to Face…
Or…
FTF – Favorite Things Friday…
Well, not if you’re Geocaching! In this game it’s:
FTF – First to Find… and earn a SMILEY
…and it was the second item on the acronym list: https://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/FTF
FTFs are just another cache find to some, but to others it’s exciting and they’re quick to post FTF in their log.
Still others are FTF Hounds and try to always be first to find a new cache.
If you want to be able to use projectGC, or another tracking tool, to track how many times you’ve been first to find, Type “FTF” or (FTF) at the beginning of your log.
If you do not use quotes or brackets, you’ll be manually searching your logs and counting.
Have fun finding and logging this cache! You just might be First to Face AND First to Find.
