Earlier this year a magazine had a write up about abandoned places, long forgotten.
When the TransCanada Highway was expanded to 4 lanes of limited access divided highway many small businesses were no longer on the well travelled route. Some became almost inaccessible because of roads that abruptly ended.
This is one of those locations.
Having travelled parts of Route 66 in the US this reminded me of some many other abandoned places.
At one time this was a souvenir/gift shop, frequented by travellers heading in and out of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. ( I probably went past this spot way back in the 60's.
The container is flip top....feel for the tab.
