This geocache is located in a wooded area accessed by the Mad River Levee Trail system, east of the town of Blue Lake. The closest parking to GZ is about a mile away, along Hatchery Rd. or Taylor Way. The pleasant hike to the cache site includes intriguing vistas of the surrounding forested hillsides, and glimpses of the North Fork of the Mad River watershed. Binnoculars are recommended for best viewing of the scenery and bird life! Enjoy!
