Geocache Description:

Hello all,

This is another instalment to the Solace series of caches I've been running about. This is not as grueling as earlier releases, but still won't be a quick puzzle solve. There's two parts to this puzzle, and the final is not your standard DreamMachine cache.

N 43° 43. [B x 2 + C] '    W 79° 21.?'

~> Who was the mayor of Toronto that helped secure the site of Sunnybrook Farms (which became a new hospital in the 1940's)?  How old was he when he announced he'd make land available for this new hospital for the war effort (though a generous land donation)? The answer is A.

~> Just three years after this announcement, the first (number) of patients were brought into the now nearly completed hospital for the first time to be treated. How many were brought to Sunnybrook? The answer is B

Multiply A and B by 2 then proceed with the third question. (I realize this is ignoring BEDMAS)

~> In what year were the Memorial Gates (and plaque) for the Kilgour family built in Wilket Creek Park? Take the DR of this year and subtract 1 to get C.  (The year is an odd number*)

To solve for the West coordinates, take a look to the sky.

Congratulations Yellow Warbler on the bird friendly FTF!!
