Geocache Description:

26 January 2023, 18:00 - 19:00

Location: University of Indianapolis, Good Hall, Room 002 (in the basement)

Time: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Topic: Adventure Labs!

Facilities: Note that this is in the same location as the Feb. 9th puzzling event, I've just offset the coordinates slightly so that both will show up on the caching map! Parking is available in the adjacent Good Hall lot (permits are not required after 3 p.m.) or on any side street nearby. This is a university building with full facilities and ADA access via the south end elevator.

Have you seen adventure labs on your caching map, but don't know how or why you should look at them? Do you have an adventure lab credit but don't know where to start with creating one? Have you published an adventure lab but are looking for ideas for your next adventure? Do you love adventure labs and want to know about others in the area or elsewhere you might want to experience? Or, do you hate adventure labs and want to get some of us in a room so you can set the record straight? Then this event is for you!

Whether you are a seasoned adventure lab creator/completor or new to the game, there is always fun to be had and new information to gain by getting together to chat about the many different aspects of geocaching. For those interested in creating their own adventure lab for the first time, Fievel and I will be providing an Adventure Lab 101 tutorial as she builds her first lab experience. We've both logged a few hundred ALs, so we can chat about what works, what doesn't, what are best practices, and what to look out for when making decisions in your build. And we hope to learn from you veteran adventurers as well - so come with your lecture notes and thinking caps!
