This cache has been placed in memory of our faithful beagle companion Riley, who accompanied me to a couple of caches on these bike trails, at least one of which we were FTF on! Riley passed due to cancer on Dec 5 2022, he's left a huge hole in our hearts and home, but he sure did enjoy going on these cache hunts, even if his nose didn't allow him to stand still very long while hunting for the containers! LOL
The container is a new addition to the Denton Parks Mountain Bike Trail, near the Clear Creek Center. The bike trail is open during dry conditions, and closed during wet and muddy times to help preserve the trails. The parking lot has been provided as an additional waypoint, where you can find restrooms and picnic tables. These trails are open to walkers and runners (and cachers), please yield to cyclists.
There are a few tokens available for FTF, STF, and 3TF ... for now, they are memories of our other family dog Max who passed back in 2016 (I'm working on getting some made for Riley!)
