Our beloved, faithful, and devoted beagle Riley passed away on Dec 5 2022, and this is another cache placed in his memory. Nearby is a small pond that he walked leashless around on that morning, moving quite slowly but still curious enough to sniff around, lap up quite a bit of pond water, and made his way about halfway around on his own. His vet clinic is located in the neighboring business complex, and I scooped him up and carried him the rest of the way wrapped up in one of his favorite blankets (he had quite a few!)
We miss him a ton -- but know that he's no longer suffering from cancer and is happily playing and enjoying his companionship at the Rainbow Bridge with other doggos that have blessed our lives with their companionship!
There's not a ton of room in this cache container -- but just enough for a log and baggie, and a small token for the FTF! This one happens to memorialize our other dog Max who passed back in 2016 (I'm working on producing new tokens for Riley).
