Celebrating the City of Waukesha's 38th annual JanBoree and the 19th year that Geocaching has been a part of it!
This winter friendly geocache was hidden near a road crossing of the Waukesha County Parks New Berlin Trail. Please use great stealth as this is a heavily used trail.
Welcome to the Waukesha County Parks New Berlin Trail. It is a seven-mile lineal recreation trail located on the Wisconsin Electric Power Company right-of-way. It extends from S. 124th Street just south of Greenfield Ave (State Hwy 59) at the Milwaukee-Waukesha County line to Lincoln Ave in Waukesha. It is possible, taking city streets, to reach the State Glacial Drumlin Trail from this trail.
While located on the New Berlin Trail, this land is not governed by Waukesha County Parks. Permission has been granted by Waukesha Parks, Recreation and Forestry who maintains this section.
