Laurel Run Park is a great place to hike in all seasons of the year. In the spring you can see an abundance of wildflowers. In summer you can enjoy the cool waters of the creek. Fall brings beautiful colors. And, on winter days like the one when I hid this cache, you might be lucky enough to see a frozen waterfall.
You can check park hours here. There are several caches in this park, and its trails connect with Bay's Mountain Park trails where you will find even more caches.
This cache is hidden near the beginning of the park's most popular hiking trail. There is a small wooden structure here. YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO INSIDE THE STRUCTURE. The cache is hidden on the outside. If you are facing the door, the cache will be on the back left corner. You are looking for a bison tube with log only so BYOP.
