Deze route van +-10km kwam online tijdens het Genks Geocache Event (MEGA) op 20/05/2023 en bevat 13 traditionals, 2 korte multies en 1 bonus.
Op 31 maart 1988 werd de mijn van Winterslag definitief gesloten. Toch hoor ik geregeld van gepensioneerde mijnwerkers dat er ergens nog een gevulde kolenwagen staat, klaar om bovengehaald te worden. Aan jullie om deze te vinden en de kolen het daglicht te laten zien.
De mijnwerkers onderweg zullen jullie helpen met het bepalen van de locatie van deze kolenwagen.
Er zijn bij deze route geen speciale tools nodig. Wel zal je hier en daar wat mijnwerkerskills (stealth mode) moeten gebruiken.

On 31 March 1988, the Winterslag mine was permanently closed. Yet I regularly hear from retired miners that there is still a filled coal truck somewhere, ready to be brought up. It's up to you to find it and let the coals see the daylight.
The miners along the way will help you determine the location of this coal truck.
No special tools are required for this route. However, you will have to use some miner skills (stealth mode) here and there.
