Katwalk
Artwork and Precinct Information
'Katwalk' is a series of artwork created by Mikaela Castledine. The artwork features 10 meerkats created using Castledine's signature technique of crocheting polypropylene over a stainless steel frame and coating the pieces with fabric hardener.
The artwork was installed as part of the 'Connect South' project, which included the creation of a new piazza and upgrade to the pedestrian interface along Mends Street. The project aims to create a vibrant and attractive entry statement for visitors.

Cache Information
The final cache is a magnetic nano.
It should be a simple find, but during school holidays and on weekends in the morning, the area can be busy with visitors to the zoo. Please take care to ensure that you are not being watched when you retrieve and replace the cache.
As is always the case, please make sure that you return the cache as found, to ensure that future geocachers enjoy the same experience that you do.
Don't forget to bring your own writing implement, as one is not provided.
