Figured with as much as we have been coming out here, we should hide a cache. This is one of the closer reference points for Parks on the Air, a ham radio thing...another hobby that daddy renruts participates in. Every time we run out here for a quick activation I check on the cache here in the parking lot. Sure is a sad, lonely cache...so I thought I would hide another one!
This is a small plastic bit container that I put a couple of small trades in with an unactivated travel bug for the FTF, a log and a traveling TB. This cache is on the way to the Black Bear Cache and is in State Game Lands #297, so wear your orange for safety.
the walk to the cache is about a tenth of a mile up a grassy road/path that can get muddy and slick. The cache is a few steps into the brush...and there will be thorns. Looking for the sleeping giant, then find his base.
