Geocache Description:

This is another in a series of Phobia caches placed by Totes Krakra

What be Thalassopharpaxophobia, ye ask?

    Thalassopharpaxophobia [n. noun]

          Thay-las-so-far-paks-o-fo-be-a

[Try and say that three times fast]

Arrrgh, ye mateys, it be de fear of pirates, of course.   Aye, Thalasso is sea or ocean; and Yo, Ho Harpaxo is a robber; and Shiver me timbers Phobia is an excruciating fear of something dreadful.  You'd have to be crazy not to be afraid of pirates.  But alas, there is  bountiful treasure to be had and that keeps us all a hunt'n, inspite of our worst fears.

Ahoy you have a puzzle to solve!  Arrrr ye seadogs ready to set sail for the high seas and plunder all the booty? Cap'n Krakra has a map to the Lost Pirates Treasure, but you may have to face some pirates along the way to solve this puzzle.

To solve this puzzle and reveal the secret coordinates you must match the pirate joke to the punch line.  The letter will go with the given number at the end of the punch line.

For example:   Z.   Knock Knock.    Who's there?   Boo.     Boo who?

Don't cry, it's an easy puzzle to solve (1)

Answer:  Z=1

Replace the letters with the numbers and Blimey!!! Ye have the solution.  If ye be not so certain, drop ye anchor and use the checker below to see how ye faired.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

Arrrgh! we be walkin' the plank fer sure with those foul pirate shenanigans.   Did ye know there was an international talk like a pirate day?  Every year on September 19th.  But ye don't have to wait, ye can start today as ye to set sail to find the Lost Treasure, or ye can just ask Siri to talk like a pirate to ya.   A special shout out to Ferd Berfull  who recently went out and plundered some booty (aka geojunk; aka cache container) from Davey Jones Locker that had been abandoned and archived long past and now we be repurposing it here.

Now Heave Ho me hearties and beware of Scallywags and Landlubbers

Me old map and compass was a wee bit off kilter, but hopefully you can navigate the clues and find X marks the spot.
