Join us for a group-think puzzle solving night for CARW2023 – all are welcome!
Out of town cachers can come in for this kick-off puzzle-solving event and make plans to stay overnight in order to get an early start on Saturday morning.
Please note that you must attend this event to claim a smiley. Puzzle solving and caching during the weekend and participating in CARW does not make you eligible to log.

CARW2023 will be held during the weekend of March 4th & 5th. Cache finding start time is 9:00 a.m. Saturday, March 4th and the cache finding end time is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 5th.
Please DO NOT hunt for caches before the start time of 9:00 a.m. Saturday, March 4th.
CARW2023 is a "fun for the whole family" event with a focus on "Quality Caching".
This year's theme will be Medieval/Monty Python so go out there and hide some caches based on your favorite theme!
Edmonton and area geocachers hide winter-friendly caches in the designated event area. Caches are submitted for review on or before the Cache Submission Deadline of Friday, February 24.
Upon publication, participants prepare for the event by solving puzzles, planning their routes, and, for some, forming teams to hunt for caches. A "Kick Off" event is held on Friday evening for people to get together to make their preparations. On Saturday morning March 4th at 9:00 a.m. everyone hits the trails to hunt for caches.
On Sunday afternoon, March 5th at 2:00 p.m., everyone heads for the Wrap-Up event.
