Geocache Description:


The Road Home" is the story of a group of geocachers, who just before Christmas, learned that one of their own was hospitalized. Wanting to do something and not knowing exactly what they could do, they banded together to place geocaches along "The Road Home" between the hospital and residence of their sick friend and his wife. The idea behind these cache placements was to add a bit a normalcy for his wife as she travels between home and the hospital everyday through the Christmas season.

It’s been a while, but know that you both are still in our hearts and prayers. We’re happy you earned your souvenir! We still don’t want you to go into cache withdrawal, though, so here ya go! It may not be THE road home, but it is A road home, nevertheless.
