Een gemakkelijke cache. U bevindt zich in Burgerbrug, gemeente Schagen. Burgerbrug wordt gekenmerkt door een levendig en actief dorpsleven. Bekende tradities in het Burgerbrugse zijn de jaarmarkt in de zomer (derde zondag van juli), de harddraverij in het eerste weekend van juli en de kermis in september.
De omgeving van Burgerbrug met de Grote Sloot en de Westfriese Dijk is geliefd bij toeristen. Langs de Grote Sloot zijn diverse stolpboerderijen, bezienswaardig, en ook de molens langs de Grote Sloot zijn regelmatig open voor bezoek. Kort buiten het dorp springt de stolpboerderij "Vroegop" in het oog (Grote Sloot 25). Daterend uit 1670 is dit de oudste nog bestaande boerderij van de Zijpe. Uit 1915 stamt het wonderlijke gebouw "Zeenimf" (Grote Sloot 130 aan de overzijde) met zijn karakteristieke ronde toren. Verder nog zijn er de molens Zuider-G, uit 1699 en Molen F, uit 1890. Het kruispunt in het centrum van het dorp is een veel gebruikt rustpunt voor fietsers die in de omgeving aan het fietsen zijn.
Achter u ligt de straat 'Den Gouden Hoeck", vermoedelijk zo genoemd vanwege de goede aardappeloogsten die hier in het verleden werden behaald. Aan deze doodlopende straat ligt een klein sportveld. In de zomer worden hier regelmatig activiteiten georganiseerd, in de winter wordt het veld onder water gezet, zodat het bij voldoende vorst gebruikt kan worden als schaatsbaan.
Om de cache te kunnen loggen moeten onderstaande vragen worden beantwoord:

- Hoeveel vingers op de gekleurde paal langs de weg wijzen recht omhoog?

An easy cache. You are in Burgerbrug, a small village in the municipality of Schagen. Burgerbrug is characterized by a lively and active village life. Well-known traditions in Burgerbrug are the annual fair in the summer (third Sunday of July), the harness race in the first weekend of July and the fair in September.
The area around Burgerbrug with the Grote Sloot and the West Frisian Dike is popular with tourists. There are various farmhouses along the Grote Sloot, worth seeing, and the windmills along the Grote Sloot are also regularly open for visits. Shortly outside the village, the farmhouse "Vroegop" catches the eye (Grote Sloot 25). Dating from 1670, this is the oldest surviving farm in the Zijpe. The wonderful building "Zeenimf" (Grote Sloot 130 on the opposite side) dates from 1915 with its characteristic round tower. There are also the mills Zuider-G, from 1699, and Molen F, from 1890. The intersection in the center of the village is a frequently used resting point for cyclists who are cycling in the area.
Behind you lies the street 'Den Gouden Hoeck', presumably so called because of the good potato harvests that were achieved there in the past. There is a small sports field on this dead-end street. Activities are organized here regularly in the summer, and in the winter the field is flooded, so that it can be used as a skating rink when there is sufficient frost.
