Here is my latest series taking you around Castle Donington, it is the fourth incarnation hence WACD4, this time 40 caches to mark me reaching another caching milestone. Some of the locations will be familiar to those who have visited the village previously, but most are new.
There are two loops, NE and SW, the NE being slightly longer at 4.2 miles, while the SW is 3.5 miles.
It doesn't matter where you start, or which way round you walk. There is parking in many places around either loop.
Both loops are mainly urban, although there might well be a field on the NE loop.
Wherever you decide to start and park please respect residents driveways etc.
Note that at the moment, February 2023, the direct path between #18 and #19 has a kissing gate surrounded by quite deep mud.
To avoid this you can take the left fork in the paths, go up the hill, along the road and down the steep slope to #19.
Or if doing in reverse, go straight up the hill from 19, turn left at the road and left again before the houses.
Note 2. Today, March 4th 2023, the mud has dried up quite well and is passable without wellies.
