Also, if you are approaching from #18, Hemington, there is a very muddy kissing gate on the direct path, at 52 50.733/1 19.750.
If necessary you can avoid this by taking the left fork, up the hill and onto the road, then over the stile and down the steep hill.
Hopefully it will be a little drier in the summer.
