'23 Winter.02: Truckin' Up to Buffalo Mystery Cache

Nearly 16 years ago I started caching with my mother and father. Then I had about a 3,000 day gap of finds. Around 5 years ago I started caching again with my daughter. In the last year I've found about 750 caches and solved about 75 puzzles. I created and launched a few puzzles over the last few months and I've been thinking a lot about my favorite puzzles and ideas for making something for other cachers. This cache is the second in what I hope is a series of caches throughout the winter of 2023. Be sure to save the bonus information from the geochecker for the winter season finale. I moved to New York in 2004 and realized I lived right on the line between NY Giants country and Buffalo Nation. Over the years I’ve seen some great games and every year I hear, “This is the year!”. I do hope for all my Buffalo friends, that this truly is the year they go all the way.

As I’ve heard before about making the playoffs (and it applies here): you are going to win 5 games each season, you are going to lose 5 games each season (so those cancel out), and then there are 6 games that will determine your fate.

In thinking about all of the seasons of football I’ve experienced I came across this unique schedule of games, which seem both real and imagined. The schedule helped me realize that with the right games, win or lose, I could go home with a geocache.
