The cache IS at the posted coordinates. However, this is a challenge geocache- you will have to meet certain requirements to log this one as a find.
This series of challenge caches are hidden at Mallard Creek Recreation Center & Community Park- please stick to daylight hours. The south parking at the Community Center is limited to when the center is open- please see the Community Center page for hours. If the center is closed, you can always trek the trails down from the northern part of the park.
This challenge will require you to visit several US States (or DC) and make an increasing number of finds in each state. The requirements are based on powers of 2- doubling numbers 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, etc. The full list of finds you'll need:
- 1 Find in State #1
- 2 Finds in State #2
- 4 Finds in State #3
- 8 Finds in State #4
- 16 Finds in State #5
- 32 Finds in State #6
- 64 Finds in State #7
- 128 Finds in State #8

There is no time requirement on the finds. Lab caches do not count, as they do not have location/state information. A challenge checker has been added to confirm whether or not you qualify. The final container is a micro pill bottle, see the hint if you want more specific information.
NOTE: If there has been a heavy rain, you may want to wait on this one- it's near a creek. High enough up that it's not likely swept away at higher water levels, but more difficult to access.
