Pound Farm is a very nice property but the only way you will see it will be from above on Google Earth. Years ago it was a farm with outbuildings on the NW side, now converted into houses. To the SE for the farm is a place where you can pull off London Road for what is a Cache and Dash, but do not stop there for too long as it is the entrance to the Pound Farm pumping station and access is required at all times. Actually I have not seen the gates open in 3 years, but you never know. Only a short distance further is a large field with horses and a stables with chickens, ducks, occasionally turkeys and 3 goats. I did consider calling this cache the Billy Goats Gruff, but there is only one billy, the other two are nannys.
Obviously the usual messages about keeping dogs and children firmly on a lead as this is a busy road. You are looking for my usual small tube, camouflaged and with a magnet. Log only so BYOP. It is not retrievable by children or those in wheelchairs.
