The Geocaching Cronan Ranch is a series of caches to celebrate the Geocachers, events and all things Cronan Ranch.
Cronan Ranch is BLM land and is located in Pilot Hill, California. The area contains 12 miles of trails for Geocaching, hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, bird watching and other passive recreation. There is a wide variety of terrain to choose from, including gently sloped to challenging hills, oak woodland and gentle riverfront trails. Each season offers a diverse experience.
Cronan Ranch was embraced by geocachers as soon as it was opened to the public. It contains dozens of caches and miles of trails to explore during your geocaching adventures. It was where I place my first cache "Phoenix Beach Cache" (Hidden : 2003-01-25) near the Magnolia Ranch Trailhead down by the river. Another old cache at the ranch is "The Lollipop Tree" (Hidden : 2005-05-29) by mistermac. These geocaches and many more new and old are here at "The Ranch" waiting for you to find.
