The Fordtran Cemetery was originally known as the "Midgett Grave Yard". The first recorded burial here dates back to December of 1898. Many of those interred here are relatives of Hugh Mack Midgett and his wife Sarah Buchanan Midgett, who bought 160 acres here when they moved from Tennessee. This 1/2 acre well maintained site has approximately 140 recorded burials. There is no need to enter the cemetery to retrieve this cache. Please be respectful when seeking this cache. Please no night caching. Beware of all things that creep, crawl, slither, bite and sting. All passers by and the nearby cattle will be curious about what you are doing, so stealth, as always, is recommended.
Congratulations to drives for the FTF!
