At Christmas 2022, I was given a new disc golf disc, which I dyed with the geocaching logo. (Picture in background on the geocaching website.) It gave me the idea to combine my hobbies, and so, I have placed caches around various disc golf courses in the area. The only course I am missing is Robert Burnaby, but it was too saturated to put another cache.
This is a fun course, but not one I play a lot. If you go later in the day in good weather, it can be crowded with dog walkers. It does have some of the most unique hole locations in the city, though, including one that looks like it's in prison. It's also one of the few that has a par 4, and even a par 5, so that's good.
The cache itself is a bison tube tucked into the bark of an impressive tree, kind of near the 12th basket, but right beside the sidewalk. Being tall may help, but most people won't have a problem reaching it. I hope.
If you haven't tried disc golf, maybe now is the time. The first tee is just around the corner. Good luck!
Congrats to Hughling for FTF!
