Who knew there was an airport in Philippi, WV?? I sure didn't until becoming a pilot. The title of this cache refers to the airport code here, 79D!
One of the coolest aspects of geocaching is that I've gotten to see new places that I didn't even know existed. I hope that by hiding this cache I am able to bring a new group of people to an area that most people probably never knew was here!
This geocache is NOT located inside of the airport perimeter fence. There is no need to enter the fence of the airport.
