I created a Sidetracked cache in this location on 23rd November 2007, although I later had to move it to a slightly different spot which seemed to be better. Then in 2016 I offered it for adoption as I was finding it difficult to maintain all the caches I had and The Webbies took it on. I did ask once if I could have it back when I found I had very few local caches but was refused. However, it got disabled on 30th July 2022 when a geocacher found parts of an old cache box lying on the ground posted a "Needs Maintgenance" and The Webbies seem to have forgotten about this because it got archived by Geohatter on 29th December 2022.
So this cache is placed to resurrect a cache in this popular site and enable people to see the details of the previous one Sidetracked - Birmingham International (GC17JBM). This cache had 2,094 logged visits and gained 27 Favourite points, with the gallery hosting 136 images.
There were 1,850 Finds and only 30 DNF's with maintenance needed approx once a year. In full the stats were:-

There is ample free parking nearby but beware as it is only for 20 minutes. However, this should be ample to enable the cache to be found and the log signed.
I can also give a shout out in the memory of BHX TB Lounge by Steve-e-b which, before SideTracked - Birmingham International was the closest to the airport & station so as to get TB's and geocoins on their way all over the world. It lasted 14 years until 2019 when it was archived because of HS2 disruption.
