Grandchild #5 was our second granddaughter and she got here about 90 minutes after our first granddaughter! No, they aren’t twins, though they have been known to call themselves the “twin cousins.”
#5 has that “southern” two name thing going for her, but over time some people starting calling her “GO”. Well that was fine for a while, but she’s just had too much LSU … or Cajun … or Louisiana influence in her life. Mom and Grandmother were born in Baton Rouge. Mom graduated in Slidell LA. Grandmother graduated in Hammond LA. And Granddaddy … well he is a proud LSU graduate.
So GO has begun signing things as “GEAUX”!!! Just a few weeks ago she even made her first trip to Café du Monde for beignets!! (Of course, she loved them.) The stamp that you will find in this letterbox will take you straight to Louisiana.
Remember that the stamp and inkpad are NOT swag. Please leave them in place (enclosed in the plastic bag) to maintain the integrity of the cache. The cache is large enough to hold small travel bugs and coins.
At times there will be muggles present. Please be on the lookout for their presence and be stealthy grabbing the cache when they are around! Also … NO NIGHT CACHING!!
Enjoy your walk in the woods and bring a pen along to sign the log. Remember to be safe! Happy Hunting!!!
