Hello Geocahers! Welcome to our beautiful island!
For those of you who like hiking, this cache is for you! We have placed it close to a hiking trail that starts from Stavros village and ends in Katholiko monastery. It is placed in a rocky area, so you must wear shoes. If you chose to continue with the trail after the cache, please have in mind that it is a difficult (and dangerous) trail, definately not recommented for children and inexperienced hikers. However, you can enjoy some beautiful view up until the cache placement! What do you think of our Cretan Glaciers?
The cache is a glass container with a logbook and a few pencils. It is placed close to the highest point of the rocky area and it is in a hole, covered with a stone. If you have a hard time finding it, check the spoiler pictures.
