You are standing kitty-corner from the Issel Building ,a.k.a "The Landmark Of Sheridan Park"! It was built in 1929 and features a beautiful green and white terra cotta facade. The bottom floor is home to businesses, and the upper two floors contain appartments. I haven't been successful in finding much information about the history of the building itself, but it sits on the former site of the Sheridan Drive Club House-- a "cemetery saloon" where ladyfolk were allowed to gamble! You can find out more about that in this article.
