11th Annual Tatum CITO
It’s that time of year.
Door prizes are being assembled, caches are being mapped out, and plans are being made for the return of the annual Tatum CITO event and the Tatum Trifecta of events.
The 11th Annual Tatum CITO event in Tatum, Texas will be held at the posted coordinates on 4-15-23.
Please join us at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning of 4-15-23 at Action Automotive for all the festivities. We will help the City of Tatum with a small cleanup project, then everyone can collect their door prizes and enjoy some homemade pecan pie. There will be some new caches to find immediately following a group picture with all our trashy friends.
There will also be a cache container contest, so get your evil, gadget, clever, and/or unique caches ready to enter into the contest. Caches entered in the contest WILL remain the property of the entrant. (You get to keep the cache your brought) Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
What to bring?
Bring your chair, bring your trash grabber, bring some gloves, and maybe your umbrella.
This event will not rain out or be postponed due to cold, so please prepare for the weather conditions.
There will be other events published around this one, so keep an eye out for the Friday night fish fry event and our wrap up event on Saturday afternoon.
Please log a “will attend” with a headcount of your party as soon as possible so we can make sure we have enough door prizes and pecan pie for everyone.
Tatum only has one motel, so make your reservations early. Martin Creek Lake State Park has cabins, tent sites, and RV sites. There are also 2 new RV lots in the area now as well.
