Fishing in the pond at Liberty Park is against Borough Ordinance, but when I was growing up, this is where I first learned to cast. It's also where I learned to ice skate (only when the sign says "open skating" of course!) and where I went to feed the ducks - way back in the day, pre-playground, when feeding the ducks was still allowed. It's a place of many memories for me, and maybe can become a place for a moment of quiet reflection for you.
