East Yorkshire seems to have more than it's fair share of bendy roads and this one is no exception. Although that is not it's official name, this road between Hompton and Patrington is universally known by locals as Snakey Lane, for obvious reasons. It's a quiet road and a good place to chill out and observe the wildlife. Apart from the ubiquitous pheasants, and the migrating birds such as geese and swans in season, it is common to see deer, hares and foxes, and in the early evening you may be lucky enough to see a barn owl. This cache is a lot easier to find in Winter than it will be the rest of the year.
Note: Renamed from "Snakey Lane" to add the Holmpton prefix after I realised that the Hompton boundary stretched further to the West than originally thought.
