Geocache Description:

20 February 2023, 12:00 - 13:30

11th Annual
Presidential Event
CITO

This event is for anyone lucky enough to
have President's Day off!!

It is open everyone regardless of which political party
you claim or who you think should be president.

This is our 11th year of hosting an event for President's Day
and once again this year we decided to make it a CITO. Although, we are hopefully the temperature will be warmer than last year's event.

We will meet at the new Saltese Flats Wetland Area trailhead/parking area off of Henry Road. We will be in the parking area until 12:30 to make assignments for litter pick up. Options will be cleaning up the trailhead areas and/or cleaning up on the many trails in the area. What better way to spend an extra day off from work than to help keep this wetland area beautiful with the help of friends!

Some trash bags will be provided; however, if you have your own, please bring them. Gloves or trash grabbers would be recommended if you have some to bring. As there is no trash receptacle at the trailhead, we will need to pack the trash collected out.
