Totara Park is named for the magnificent specimen that stands at its south-eastern corner, but there are lots of much younger totara throughout the park.
The totara are a reminder of the forest that covered the land before humans arrived and changed the landscape forever.
As always, please be careful of any plants you come across while searching.
Note the difficulty level, if you've never found a geocache before this is probably NOT a good place to start.
Also note: The neighbours on the rear section to the west know about the cache so don't feel at all awkward about crashing around in the undergrowth.
