TrekTenTrails Guided Hikes are back! We've been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a new season of TrekTenTrails are so excited to be offering Guided Hikes once again!
We will meet at the covered Picnic Pavillion. This event will be a good opportunity to chat with your fellow cachers. Stop by and say hello! There should be some TBs and geocoins to swap or discover, too. Bring any travelers you have been holding onto so they can be moved along. There will also be some discussions about other geocaching events being held in the next year.
There will be a guided hike after we chat, but you DO NOT have to hike to attend the EVENT. The guided hike will be led by TrekTenTrails Geocaching Coordinator, Briana Boston.
We would rate the terrain of the guided hike as a 3.0 due to sugar sand and hilly terrain. The guided hike will be approximately 1.5 miles round trip. If you would like to explore more of the Preserve, there are nearly 6 miles of trails to enjoy. Much of the Preserve is not shaded, please bring plenty of water!
We will be meeting at the posted coords at 9:00am; the event will end at 11:00am. If you are running late, don't worry, there will be geocachers at the event site until 11:00am.
