Geocache Description:

What a crazy name for a cache. I placed this cache to help with a difficult challenge cache. It seems there is not a cache in the area with an N amimal in the title. I looked up N animals and found a few I could paint so I painted them on a tin and made a cache out of it. Then I thought why stop there? Nicobar pigeons are really colorful so I added green to the title so it could be placed in the color series. Then I thought why just green? If I say Emerald green it's more descritive and it then qualifies for a gemstone challenge. And so we have the Emerald Green Nicobar pigeon, Narwhal, Newt Cache. We placed it in the color series just off Tehachapi Willowsprings Road. Do not attempt to find the cache from there, though. There is an arroyo, a hill and a fence in the way. Work your way up the dirt roads through the other color caches. It's a rough road with washouts and a few sandy spots so a high clearance vehicle is strongly recommended. We were going to hide the cache in the next spot 500 feet from the last cache but a landmark caught our attention and we decided to take you there insead. There's space for a cache in between if you happen to have an apporopriate cache along. Enjoy the cache, the view of the windmills, the crosses and the hunt!
